No Hard Feelings
It was 7:45 on a Wednesday morning. Once again Donny and his mother argued about why he must take the school bus to school. As usual, he lost. So today, like so many in the past, he would be forced to walk by Billy Norton, get tripped in the aisle, and teased all the way to school. His shoulders slumped as he waited for the dreaded yellow and black beast to arrive. As expected his books were soon scattered and he was called a loser and a baby. It happened so frequently Donny was almost numb to the routine. He stared out the window and dreamed of the day when he was old enough to ride his bicycle to school.
When Friday came and the older boy had still not returned, Donny became curious. He asked the bus driver if he had moved away. read next
